For all of you that attended the 2013 Band Awards Banquet, you surely remember Evan’s farewell.? Evan was kind enough to share his farewell letter for us to share on the website.
To fill in everyone else…?graduating Senior, and last marching season Drum Major Evan Fitts?shared many wonderful thoughts on what band has meant to him, and the impact it has made on him.? I strongly encourage any and all middle school students and parents of middle school students to read this letter.? So many students coming from middle school are unsure about continuing with band.? Many students in next year’s band leadership were hesitant about continuing with band in high school.? I am sure they will all also tell anyone how glad they are to have stayed with it.
